The Leofoto MPQ Series Monopods include all of the same great features found on the MP Series monopods and combines them with the latest premium quality carbon fiber of the LQ Series tripods and the water-proof twist leg locks from the LP/LA Sea Series tripods. The MPQ monopods are constructed with Leofoto's latest 3rd generation carbon fiber with increased density and a new "snow capped mountain pattern" inspired by nature. Featuring a durable rubber grip and wrist strap for security, the MPQ Series monopod is capable of supporting cameras with large telephoto lenses. The rubber foot prevents it from sliding on smooth surfaces, but is also removable and can be replaced with a separately available steel claw, spike, or other Leofoto accessory to facilitate the best traction for any given terrain. When not in use, turn the ergonomic twist leg locks to collapse the support down and pack it in the included carrying case. The threaded mounting stud on the top of the monopod features a convertible 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw, making it universal for most cameras and lenses.

Heavy duty, and lightweight. It does not wobble like others when fully extended.

MPQ-405C monopod

This thing is outstanding! I've had a lot of different monopods over the years, and this one is the best, and its my favorite. So well built, and so sturdy. Similar to some of the other Leofoto products I've bought, this thing is so nice that I was initially hesitant to use it. To me its like a piece of jewelry. But I started using it, and its fantastic. I might need to buy another one, just to keep one in perfect condition inside the house. Thanks for another great product. There are really no negatives, although I'd like to get one just like this thats built shorter when fully collapsed. When this one (MPQ-405C) is folded down to its transport dimensions, its roughly 20-inches long. I'd love it if they could produce a version of this one that collapses to maybe 16-inches long, but is still built sturdy like this one (MPQ-405C). I wouldn't mind sacrificing some overall height (but keep the thickness of the carbon tubes) if we could get one that collapses smaller so that it could fit into my small backpack.

Amazing monopod

Very happy with the quality and rigidity of this monopod! I would recommend any big telephoto user lens user to give it a try.

Awesome monopod

Monopod is great, the best one I have ever had. Super sturdy, stiff, locks work really well, quater turn and you are good to go. Seriously good equipment.

I have added a 3rd party stainless steel spike and a 3rd party arca clamp. Unfortunately leofoto does not make a plain 60mm arcaswiss clamp. The extra panoramic knob is a waste of space and gets into your way.

Unfortunately it is not worth to order from Europe. Customs are high and leofoto declared full value for duty and vat, instead of real price, with discounts included. Leofoto USA said they will withdraw from shipping to Europe. Unfortunately it's hard to get this product in Europe, and Leofoto USA has a cooler range of products in general.
