I purchased the LM-324C as a lightweight tripod to be used locally or during a walk in the woods for my macro photography. So far it hasn't disappointed me. It appears to be well made, and definitely satisfies my requirement to weigh very little. You certainly can't beat the price of Leofoto products, and their range of products is very impressive. Time will tell if their goods will hold up over the years, but right now, I'm very satisfied.
Very happy with the tripod so far. Extremely well built, very easy to use, and packs up to an incredibly compact size, while still giving me the ability to shoot at eye level with the G4 Pro head. I also purchased the center column extender as I prefer the ease of adjusting height in this way. Would definitely recommend.
I already have the ultra light tripod that is basically the same height as this new one but ordered this one to get the larger diameter tubes and the top mount which is much more flexible that the ultra light one. I also ordered the 77mm base with the 15 degree adjustable mount and just love it. The whole thing is just what I wanted and needed for my heavier camera and longer lens. I doubt if I will ever need to buy another tripod.
forgot to mention : the carrying bag that comes with the tripod is too small when the head is left mounted on. the https://leofotousa.com/products/leofoto-tripod-bags?variant=39695673163873 is suggested/needed.
coming from Gitzo and Benro, was looking for very specific...specifications. I've found exactly what I was looking for, on a daily pro (architecture) use. Ophelia at customer service is a dream to deal with, and advise-order-payment-delivery process is smooth and easy, even on international remote locations. So far, the kind of supplier that should be the norm, but becomes rare, and so : very precious.
