Description

The Leofoto VH-20S 2-Way Monopod Head is a compact monopod head with an Arca compatible quick-release plate and clamp for supporting and positioning cameras and lenses weighing up to 26.5 pounds allowing it to be used with heavier telephoto lenses. It features large, separated knurled lock knobs which control the +/-90° front-to-back tilt and the 360° panning with numbered scales for precise, repeatable positioning and a bubble level for proper level orientation on uneven terrain.  The VH Series heads are designed to be used with monopods but can be used on tripods or any other support with a 3/8"-16 threaded stud.

Sturdy, Well-Thought-Out Design

I have been very impressed so far with the build quality and functionality of this monopod head. Due to the addition of a rotating Arca-Swiss clamp (versus the VH-10S) the capacity to mount lenses with Arca-Swiss feet pointing vertically (outward) from the camera, as well as the capacity to mount cameras with L-brackets that put the Arca-Swiss mount running horizontally along the focal plane of the camera has been absolutely indispensable. The VH-20S itself also appears to be very ruggedly built to last for many, many years to come.
