Leofoto A200 8" Ground Mount Spike w 1/4" Screw

These 8” metal ground spikes with 1/4” threads are ideal when using a variety of small lights close to the ground (photographing mushrooms, lichen, small insects, tiny flowers etc.). The forest floor can often be a little spongy. One does not need the spike to move when adjusting the little bendable lights. Those spikes provided by the light manufacturers are too short. Hence when I found the 8 inch length from Leofoto I was really happy. They provide the support/sturdy base needed from macro photography LED lights. Both the A200 and the A200+50 perform well..

Strong and works great for my remote wildlife photography.

Tried it in my back yard and it worked well in soft turf (grass) I intend to use it with ice and frozen snow this winter. It may come in handy for other uses in low shooting positions, it's well made and strong.

I had two different spikes - one plastic and one clunky metal one - and this one is absolutely perfect and replaced both others.
