Leofoto BV-20 Pro Fluid Video Head with Lever-Release Clamp and Arca Compatible QR Plate
The Leofoto BV-20 (Lever-Release Clamp) Fluid Video Head is the newly developed professional fluid head which features excellent new features, top of the line quality and precision, ergonomics, quick adjustment and smooth operation. This fluid head has a precise and continuous rebound balance system which is the perfect option for most video cameras. The tilting system and damping adjustment are extremely smooth and the clamp has an automatic locking system to prevent the camera from falling. There is drag control on both pan, and tilt to ensure smooth operation.
The head pans 360° and has a tilt range of 90 to 75°. Likewise, the camera platform is indexed, making it fast and easy to rebalance your setup on the head. Two bubble levels (on the pan base and one on the camera platform) allow you to confirm your head is level. Handle mounting rosettes allow you to mount the included pan handle to either side of the head for operator comfort, and individual pan and tilt locks provide security when you need to either only tilt or pan.

New to using a fluid video head and have previously primarily used a Wimberly WH-200 but decided to try this as I'm looking at doing some video capture in addition to photography.
I've used the BV-20 for 1 week long trip and so far seems well built with smooth pan and tilt. I like the fluid drag controls to adjust how easy it is to pan/tilt. The counter balance setting on 1 works well with my Nikon Z8 and 800mm PF lens while the 2 setting works well for the Z8 and an old Nikon 400mm f/2.8 AFS II (9.7 lbs lens).
I appreciate that the BV-20 is arca compatible so it works with all my lenses/cameras existing plates. I like the lever release as well as the safety where a button has to be pushed after the lever has been released to remove the lens out the top. I have a Kirk replacement foot on the 800mm and RRS replacement foot on the 400mm with the safety stop screws so I appreciate that the lens/camera won't be dropped if the lever gets released accidentally.
Only downside I've found so far is that the BV-20 is just over 1 lb heavier than the WH-200 I have been using, so might give the BV-15L a try at some point in the future.

even at level 2.
4) Top manufacturing quality
Con:
1)Tilt lock on the left
2) Senstive to hand movement slightly when holding the handle still
3) Confusing manual and warranty. It says at user cost even under warranty.
Lever release clamp gives a peaceful mind, not falling off. The head works smoothly. It is easy to set up. Love it.
