The Leofoto BV-30M Pro Video Fluid Head - Manfrotto Clamp is Leofoto's newly developed professional fluid head. It features excellent functions, high quality and precision controls, ergonomics, quick adjustments and smooth operation.

The BV-30M has a dynamic stepless counterbalance knob for the most precise counterbalance adjustment. By utilizing the stepless counterbalance, the user can perfectly balance their video setup for the most smooth operation possible.

There are 4 damping settings for tilt to narrow down the preferred resistance for the weight load as well as a tilt lock. There are also 4 panning settings to select the most preferred resistance for the job as well as a panning lock.

The BV-30M also features a quick release system on the clamp to quickly secure and detach the Manfrotto style plate. Included is an adjustable handle with silicone grip that can me mounted on either side of the fluid head. There are 1/4" and 3/8" accessory holes on the fluid head to mount accessories such as magic arms as well.

Great design and quality but insufficient weight capacity.

I purchased the BV-30M Pro Video Fluid Head recently and was very impressed with the build quality, and design. I especially liked the scales on the tilt and pan. Movement of the head was extremely smooth in both pan and tilt. I rated the head only 3 stars as I think the weight capacity falls far short of the advertised capacity of 44 pounds due to the very limited 11 pound counterweight adjustment. The weight capacity may be 44 pounds for panning but if you have a load heavier than 11 pounds it will not be sufficient in tilt. I did end up returning the BV-30M for a refund and I must say Leofoto was excellent to work with. They truly build quality products and they stand behind them.
