The Leofoto replacement foot for the Canon EF 200mm F2 is of high quality manufacture. It allows for a lower mounting placement than if a Arca style plate is bolted to the bottom of the factory foot. Lower placement for a lens of this weight is better in general and is especially helpful when attaching to a tracking mount. When the Leofoto foot is installed the lens still fits in the Canon OEM lens case (unlike bolting a plate to the factory foot).
