Leofoto CFC-01 Replacement Foot for Canon RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM

The foot is much better than the original Canon - easy to grip and much better balanced.

I now have a camera plate or lens foot for every compatible lens and camera I can find one for. I’ve purchased this one for my 100-500, and another for my 70-200, and my 600 f/4 all from Leofoto. They’re all fantastic! I especially love the QD for my carry solution. I tried peak design but I strongly dislike the small square plates, especially for larger gear. Having a lens foot that I can quickly and securely attach a strap to, and then quickly disconnect to mount on a tripod or monopod with a full size arca plate is the best thing to happen to my photography since.… well, since having enough to afford to be a photographer! 😂

This one for the 100-500 is svelte! The lens rotates smoothly, and I’d say it looks better than the original!

I’ve always had a problem with my RF 100-500 zoom dipping after I tighten the ball head on my tripod. I thought I needed a a bigger ball head, but discovered recently that the wiggle was in the connection between the lens collar and the Arca Swiss plate. The Leofoto integrated collar/plate is so much stronger and fits tighter than the Canon original. Problem solved!

I switched out my original Canon lens foot with the new Leofoto foot as soon as I received it. I liked the construction materials of the new foot. It mounted with no issues and it was very easy. Seems to fit perfectly. The new foot does not slip on the lens like the old foot did. So far, I am very happy with my purchase.
