Description

The Leofoto GC-364C Geared Center Column for 75mm Bowl Tripods and the Leofoto GC-404C Geared Center Column for 100mm Bowl Tripods are center columns specifically designed for 75mm and 100mm bowl tripods to add additional height. Made of brushed, hard anodized aluminum for strength and durability, the GC Series center column features a rapid column design with a large butterfly twist lock collar. With the folding crank handle, the geared vertical movement is precise with many adjustments that can be made. Both the column base and top feature a reversible 3/8"-16 threaded mounting stud that can be unthreaded and flipped to reveal a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting stud, making it compatible with virtually any head.

*Not compatible with Leofoto LN tripods due to interference.

Solid Tripod

It’s light but goes quite high. It’s sturdy and solid. Loving it.

Essential for my product photography

this geared center column allows me to smoothlh adjust the height of my camera angle in small increments, despite the weight of my camera, macro lens and flash trigger.

What I've noticed is that during the vertical travel of the center column, the camera moves left and right a little. It doesn't bother me at the end result.

It's great piece of gear to have for total control of vertical height.

NOT bowl-compatible

The description is misleading, I have a Leofoto LVM 323C and 324C (75mm bowl) and it is not compatible with either. You need to have an LM/LMR or other systematic-type with a *removable* top plate. It does not fit into a fixed bowl.

That said, it is a well made piece of equipment.
