The Leofoto GR-3 Geared Panning Adapter is ideal for tasks that demand precise micro-adjustments. Building on the GR-2, the GR-3 features an enlarged precision gear knob for more controlled fine-tuning. Its improved design ensures it won’t interfere with other components when mounted on a tripod or used alongside other heads, providing enhanced compatibility and ease of use for professional photographers.
In addition to the geared panning control, the GR-3 also features a dedicated tension adjustment knob for the panning mechanism. This allows users to fine-tune the resistance of the pan movement, ensuring smooth and precise operation.
Like its predecessor, the GR-3 features a detachable Arca rail on the bottom, allowing the unit to be attached directly to a tripod as a pseudo-head via 3/8” or onto a head via an Arca-compatible clamp. Crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and hard-anodized, it offers maximum strength and durability for professional use.
