Description

The Leofoto LB Series Leveling Base with Butterfly Handle acts like a half ball, with the LB-38 mini providing a leveling range of +/-10°, while the other models in the series offer a range of +/-15°. It locks easily and securely in position with a twist of the large butterfly handle at the base of the ball. This leveling base installs on any tripod with a 3/8" mounting stud.

The anti-twist safety screw design uses three set screws on the platform to secure the ball head in place on top of the leveling base.

Excellent Base

This leveling base is a very well made and designed base. Works as it should, the butterfly lever is smooth to engage and locks the base with no slippage. A very nice product, I would highly recommend it.

Leofoto LB Leveling Base with Butterfly Handle

Perfect! Provides a level platform and does not interfere with the tripod legs being splayed wide for low angle shots since there isn’t anything protruding below the tripod apex. Very important attribute for say shooting shore birds.

Leofoto LB Leveling Base LB 60N

Awesome product!

I love this product. It solves a problem and allows much more flexibility when using my Leofoto tripod. One nit… I wish the set screws were closer to the middle because I use a Wimberley Gimball head. While the set screws DO hold it tight, they are visible due to the Wimberley base being narrower than the leveling base.
