I use this tripod with a Cartoni fluid head for live YouTube streams that last 4-5 hours (or more). While I have been accustomed to tripods using flip-levers to extend and lock the legs in place, I've quickly adapted to the twist-lock mechanisms of the Leofoto legs. Only real issue: My previous tripods all had a mid-level spreader; I wish Leofoto would make such an accessory for this model (hint, hint).
This tripod is perfect for me.
Thank you to Scott Keyes for recommending it. I was familiar with some of the design features after using Leofoto monopod. This tripod did not disappoint. It encompasses all of those design features and more. This tripod is comfortable to adjust an easy to manage despite the arthritis I have in my thumbs. I will be using it with my 600 mm lens and gimbal head.
The three section legs make it simple to use however it is a slight drawback for travel due to the length. The compromise for simplicity is worth it.

I have a lot of Leofoto tripods to use for different purposes, I use the Athena when near water or out in wet conditions, the Summit 324CL when I need a really tall tripod and the Ranger 284-cex when hiking, recently I added a 400mm F2.8 lens to my gear and also purchased the Leofoto DPG-1 dual gimbal and I figured I would get the LM-403C X to handle the heavy load of the Z 9 and 400mm lens and also when using the dual gimbal on the tripod to handle two cameras with large lenses. I based my purchase on a YouTube video by Scott Keyes where he reviewed the 403C X, Scott loved the tripod and so do I it is built like a tank and rock solid and is surprisingly light for it’s size. Really happy with my purchase of the 403C-X
40mm legs, 3 sections and plenty tall for someone 6 foot! Abosultely love this and it is now my every day tripod.
I've been shooting for over 40 years and the Leofoto equipment quality is next to impossible to beat. Oh, by the way, their prices are excellent!
