Although the included bits are very useful, and appear robust and high quality, I couldn't get past the passive bit retention, and returned the tool. In fact, unless my example was an anomaly, I'm not sure there's even passive bit retention. As soon as the tool was oriented the slightest bit downward, the "attached" bit immediately fell out, suggesting surface tension was barely in play.
If you don't mind having to account for exceptionally loose bit retention while using the tool, you may find it useful, especially if you'll get a lot of use from the metric hex bits and/or can use the handle as a tabletop tripod center column extension.
That said, for ~40 USD, PB Swiss sells a widely beloved multibit handle that feels exceptional in hand, and features unmatched passive bit retention. PB Swiss bits are also among the best I've ever used (along with Wiha, Hazet and Wera).
Wera also sells a few different ~25 USD sets, both with and without their Rapidaptor bit retention functionality.
