I purchased the Mr O tripod with the video head after a friend recommended the brand. I use it for Photography and find the fluid head suits my style great. I like to travel light so weight is important. It is a little longer and heavier I than what I had hoped for, but it makes up for that in strength and ease of use. I’ve used it a few times and have found its easier to set up and much more sturdy than my previous travel tripod. I like that the fluid head is easy to adjust and can be tightened enough to hold the camera in place while still allowing some movement - almost simulating a gimble. I shot at an airshow last week and did some slow shutter panning as some vintage planes did flybys. I had enough movement of the tilt to get locked in on the plane, and could easily follow with just panning once it was in my viewfinder and there was no perceptible blur from camera shake. ( not possible with handheld or a too-light tripod). I really like the size and durability of the the bag. I can add a 10 ft extension pole for my action camera along with hardware to mount my phone to the pole to use as a remote. I use that to simulate low altitude drone shots in areas where drones aren’t allowed to fly. The bag makes it much easier to carry the pole and accessories. The hollow ball takes some getting used to, but is easy enough to level up and once locked in stays locked. My airshow shots all ended up with perfectly straight horizons using the level on the center column. Much prefer this head setup over a ball head.
