Leofoto tripods feature light weight carbon fiber tubes to reduce weight while maintaining a high load capacity. The T6-6061 grade aluminum hardware is CNC machined and hard anodized, creating a durable and scratch resistant setup. The standard twist leg lock system can be quickly deployed with a quarter turn. With the tripod's variable leg angle positions, the tripod can be completely spread out, so the support can drop to a very low minimum height.

The included Leofoto DC-282C Carbon Fiber Add-On Column is an adjustable, two-section center column extension for tripods and monopods. Made up of two lightweight yet durable 10-layer carbon fiber, the DC-282C adds from 7.8 to 12.5" in height and is suitable for use with supports that have a load capacity of up to 35.2 lb. The column base has a diameter of 1.5" and an integrated 3/8"-16 threaded socket, and the top platform features a spring-loaded 3/8"-16 threaded tip that can be slid down to reveal a 1/4"-20 threaded tip, making it compatible with virtually any tripod head.

The included LH-40 Low-Profile Ball Head is lightweight aluminum and features an Arca-type compatible quick release system. A precisely-machined ball provides ultra-smooth movements and a large, ergonomically-designed locking knob, enables the movement of the ball head to be controlled. Laser-engraved scales on the panning base provide precise control during panorama shooting and dual drop notches provide the capability for rapidly changing from horizontal to vertical orientation.

Nimble and Stable....

I recently switched to the Ranger 324C after spending the last few years with another carbon fiber travel tripod, and I couldn't be happier. This lightweight tripod is quick to set up, easy to use and super stable in every way. I love that there are no limitations to getting low to the ground for landscapes and macro captures, and I'm thirlled with the ballhead as well. No disrespect to the amazing folks at Peak Design, but I think I'm a Leofoto loyalist now!!

Solid tripod & ball head combo

This was my first ‘serious’ tripod and ball head purchase. I’ve been getting by with smaller travel type tripods for the past few years but doing more landscape astrophotography this past year had me needing a larger and more sturdy setup. The LS324C and LH40LR ball head should fill my needs for years to come. Still compact enough to go into the side of my camera backpack.

Leofoto LS-324C Tripod

Absolutely love this tripod… been using it heavily for bird and wildlife photography. It is sturdy and extremely well made. Much lighter than my old tripod. Really appreciate the 1/4 turn twist locks… very smooth. A very satisfied customer!

Have Tripod will Travel

I love how light it is and how I can take it for travel. It is light, but still sturdy enough to handle my D810 camera or my Z6. The carrying bag has enough room for accessories. It is a nice addition to my other accessories.
