The MP-200S Macro Focusing Rail is a precision linear motion lead screw focusing stage designed for macro photography, focus stacking, and close-up imaging applications. Featuring a smooth and accurate drive mechanism with a rotating Arca-type quick release system, the rail allows precise fore-and-aft camera positioning for highly controlled composition and focus adjustment.
The rail offers a 200mm / 7.87" travel distance within a compact 240mm / 9.45" overall length, providing extended adjustment range while maintaining portability and stability. Each full rotation of the crank delivers 1.25mm / 0.049" of movement for fine positioning accuracy. The fold-flat crank handle allows comfortable operation and convenient storage.
Constructed from lightweight CNC-machined aluminum alloy, the MP-200S features a hollowed-out design that reduces weight without compromising rigidity, supporting loads up to 8kg / 17.6 lb. Numbered scales along the rail enable repeatable and precise adjustments during macro and studio workflows.
The integrated rotating Arca-type quick release platform locks securely into four positions at 90° increments, allowing fast orientation changes. The included NP-60 quick release plate features traction pads and an adjustable anti-twist flange to help prevent movement between the camera body and plate during operation.
The base of the rail incorporates an Arca-type dovetail for direct compatibility with Arca-standard tripod heads, clamps, and support systems. Four detachable rubber-tipped support legs provide additional stability for tabletop shooting and uneven surfaces.
