The Leofoto NB-40LR Ballhead is a lightweight aluminum ball head with a large locking knob to control the movement of the ball, and a separate knob for the 360° panning movement. Within the large locking knob is a tension control dial to adjust the amount of friction on the ball. Taking panoramic photos is simple thanks to the panoramic scale at the base of the head. The lever release clamp allows quick attach.

The included NP-50 Arca-type quick release plate attaches to any camera and is secured in place with the receiver's locking knob, simply and reliably. It features a retractable backstop or adjustable anti-twist flange which prevents any unwanted rotation of the camera after mounting.
