Description

The NF-05N/NF-05L Lens Foot replaces Nikon's original lens collar foot and provides a lower profile and a lower center of gravity for better balance. Two safety stops are located on the bottom of the foot, which prevents accidental lens release when a quick-release receiver clamp is partially open.

Perfect replacement foot

This is a replacement for Nikons non-arca compatible foot on the Z600mm and Z100-400mm lenses. It’s a little longer than Nikons foot which allows people like me to carry the lens by the tripod foot, as a safety to my strap on the camera. It also allows me to slide the foot behind my pants belt and let it hang as I walk.

Leaves Kirk Photo LP-70 in the dust...

I ordered the Leofoto NF-05N to replace a Kirk LP-70 that would not attach securely to a Nikon Z 600mm f/6.3 lens. Kirk made me send the LP-70 back for them to "review" before they would consider sending a replacement, despite sending them a video of the problem (I'm still waiting for a response as of this writing). I needed a solution in the interim, so I purchased this Leofoto NF-05N replacement foot. I admit I didn't have high expectations initially but, frankly, I couldn't be happier with the product. The foot attaches solidly with minimal effort and does exactly what it is supposed to do. If and when Kirk replaces their defective foot with a new one, it will probably end up in a drawer.

Leofoto will definitely be my go-to in the future!

Seems to Work Well, So Far So Good

This is the Fourth purchase that I’ve made from Leofoto and I’ve been more than satisfied with each of them. I bought this lens foot for my Nikon Z 70-200mm lens. It fits like a glove and does exactly what it is designed to do. Nothing to complain about here. I’ll continue to buy Leofoto products.

The one Nikon should have made!

The NF 05-L replacement foot for the Nikon 100-400mm S lens is superbly built and integrates perfectly. Works like a charm!
