The Leofoto PG-2LN Folding Gimbal Head is designed for photographers using large and heavy telephoto lenses who need smooth, balanced movement and fast camera setup. Building on the proven folding design of the PG-2, the PG-2LN introduces two key improvements: a new lever-release clamp with a safety latch and a tension-free gimbal design for smoother movement.

New Lever-Release Clamp with Safety Latch
The PG-2LN features a newly designed lever-release clamp that allows the camera and lens to be mounted and removed quickly. A secondary safety latch helps prevent accidental unlocking, providing additional security when working with heavy telephoto equipment. -
Tension-Free Gimbal Movement
Unlike the original PG-2, which incorporates a degree of intentional stiffness for added control and stability, the PG-2LN is designed for tension-free movement. This allows the gimbal arm to move more freely and smoothly, making it easier to track fast-moving subjects with a large telephoto lens.
The PG-2LN is constructed from T-6061 aluminum and hard anodized for strength and durability. Its gimbal mechanism allows the arm to swing back and forth and lock at the desired angle, while a built-in bubble level on the panning base helps with setup.
The camera platform is Arca-type compatible and height-adjustable, allowing you to properly balance a telephoto lens on the gimbal. The body is hollowed out to optimize the weight-to-strength ratio while maintaining the rigidity required for large lenses.
The folding design allows the PG-2LN to collapse into a more compact footprint, making it easier to transport and store when traveling.
