Description

The  Leofoto QS-45M Quick-Link Set is a quick release system that allows tripod heads to be exchanged from a tripod and then locked securely with a simple twist in seconds. The Quick-Link System makes it possible to travel with a single tripod but multiple heads for different applications.

This set includes one receiver base and two connecting plates. Each component features anti-twist set screws to prevent any unwanted rotation.

45mm Quick-Link System .. some niggles

Very pleased with the reduced size and weight compared to the 60mm version I have been using for some time. It pairs perfectly with other items I use such as the Rollei Mini Levelling Head.

Two niggles:
a) There's no rating specified (load that it is safe for)
b) The connecting plate is 3/8 thread only, which cannot connect to many heads (for example, the DJI Ronin RS3 Mini, for which it is the perfect size).
I was able to attach by using a rubber washer and 1/4" screw, but it would be so much easier if there were a designed-in way to attach using a 1/4" screw.
