I was out shooting long range the other day, and the wind was blowing pretty hard both at my shooting position and downrange at the target area. After twenty rounds, I expected the video to show at least some movement from the wind.
Fortunately, I had planned for exactly this situation and purchased the **Leofoto RB-2 Universal Tripod Rock Bag** before heading out.
Instead of loading it with traditional weights, I placed a **DJI Power Station weighing about 23 lbs.** in the RB-2. The results were impressive. The tripod became absolutely rock solid. Despite the wind, nothing affected the stability of the setup, and the recorded images remained perfectly still.
The RB-2 handled the 23 lbs. without complaint, stayed exactly where I placed it, and did exactly what I purchased it to do. It is a very simple accessory, but when conditions turn against you, it can make a significant difference.
Another Leofoto product that earned its place in my range setup.
