Description

Mount a smartphone on a vehicle for motion shots with the Leofoto SC-01 Suction Cup Mounting Kit. The kit consists of a strong SC-01 suction cup, an articulating versa magic-arm, and a PC-90II smartphone clamp. The suction cup mounts onto a flat, clean, non-porous surface and supports up to a maximum 55lb load.

The Leofoto AM Series Versa Magic-Arm has a 1/4"-20 screw on one end and a 1/4"-20 thread on the other end. It mounts onto the suction cup and the smartphone clamp mounts onto the top of the arm.

The Leofoto PC-90II is an adjustable smartphone clamp that allows you to securely mount your phone onto a tripod or other support system. The height of the phone clamp can be adjusted from 56-90mm / 2.2-3.5 inches, with a slider on the side that locks the height in place.

  • The Leofoto SC-01 suction cup mounting base provides a strong grip on almost any smooth nonporous surface including countertops, glass, metal and more.
  • Pump the plunger a few times until the cup attaches completely.

Dash cam mount

I bet this device would hold my mirrorless camera very well but it's primary purpose will be a dashcam mount. I never want to be in a situation where the default dashcam mount falls off due to hot summer days, while I'm driving.

With this camera mount, there's an indicator that tells me when there's air in the suction cup that will compromise its holding power. All I have to do then, is to give it a few pump to expel the air during those hot summer days that cause air bubble expansion in the suction cup.

I don't have to worry about the dashcam dropping suddenly and to reposition the camera in the correct position.

So far, I've pressed the pump on occasion when my car's interior has reached about 85 degrees F. Can't wait to see this mount's performance in the summer.
