Reach for the top with the Leofoto LM-324CLX Summit Series Carbon Fiber Tripod. The brand-new design highlights upgraded angle stops meticulously crafted for enhanced ergonomic performance. The new angle stop design allows for one handed operation for convenience while ensuring that the legs won't cross each other. The 4-section support has 10x carbon fiber tubes that make the tripod a lightweight support while maintaining a heavy max load capacity. The 6061 aluminum parts are CNC machined and hard anodized, creating a durable and scratch resistant surface. The twist leg lock system is quick, only requiring a quarter turn, which enables you to completely extend and collapse the tripod rapidly.

With the tripod's three variable leg angle stops, it allows you to splay the legs completely out. At the tripod's apex, the spider has been hollowed out, which adds to the relevance of the tripod's light weight. Additionally, the mounting platform is removable, so it can be exchanged with the included 75mm video bowl to install a fluid head. An integrated 3/8"-16 socket is made available on the side of the spider for photo or video accessories. Leofoto tripods come with a carrying case to store or travel with the support system.

Fabulous

There are very few superlatives that haven’t already been uttered about this tripod, but I just had to add my own.

This is a high quality, extremely versatile and remarkably lightweight tripod.

I greased up the threads on the locks to my standard and I have to say that the feeling of quality and precision when unlocking/locking the tripod is something I haven’t experienced before. I have owned several quality makes in the past, including the often revered Gitzo, but this one feels very slick and the tubes ooze quality.

I cannot see me ever swapping this tripod out, unless it fails, but I cannot see that happening at all.

The only negative I have about purchasing this tripod, is that it caused me to further purchase two heads and another lighter weight tripod. :-)

All of it is top notch and buying Leofoto gear is actually quite addictive.

So addictive, that I have even re-considered whether I am in the right business and that I ought to re-sell Leofoto tripods at the expos I do in the UK. That way I could fill rooms with tripods/headsand then maybe satisfy my love of all things gear. :-)

Great value for money.

Great tripod

The tripod is sturdy and quick to set up. If works great with my gimbal and panoramic head. It is large, it can be above one’s head when fully extended, but that is my reason to have it. It complements well my travel tripod. And the price was absolutely unbeatable.

Wonderful tripod! Just received it and set it up, but the quality and value are evident. A quarter turn locks and unlocks the leg segments, Very tall if fully extended yet super stable. It’s larger apex base diameter is perfect for my 55mm ball head, Very nice bag as well. Couldn’t be more pleased!
