It features 3 legs that can be positioned at 3 different angles for height/stability variation. A lockable ballhead allows articulation of the monopod on the foot.
The new VD-04 monopod base also includes a foot pedal for quick adjustments of the monopod with your foot, eliminating the need to manually adjust with your hands.
Monopod attachment
Thread the monopod directly onto the 3/8”-16 thread on the mounting plate and tighten until secure.
Mini-tripod use
Screw any head onto the mounting plate to use the setup as a mini tripod.
Standard monopod mode (without the base)
The VD-04 base includes a removable rubber foot on the underside. Unscrew the rubber foot and install it on the monopod to use it as a standard monopod without the base.
*Note: This does not work with the Leofoto MPC series monopods, as the screw is not long enough to securely attach to the MPC models.
