Built solidly and provides excellent support for the camera. Sony's have a tendency IME to have some play at the lens mount, which is annoying when you're trying to film smoothly. This thing solves that issue. Once connected, it's rock solid. I placed a couple of Arca QR plates to this, so it makes attachment and removal of the camera / lens quick and easy.
