This is my first camera cage, and I wasn’t sure what to expect overall, I have installed 2 side handles on it as well as a top handle. Well it didn’t take long for me to begin to love this cage, I was left wondering why there wasn’t anything like it available 25 years ago…but better late than never! It’s great for video, and it makes low/ground level shooting angles a breeze (even with my 60+ year old ‘bod), it gets a solidly excellent rating from myself. Like every other Leofoto product I use, this cage is excellent: well designed and thought out, made with precision out of high quality alloy, and the finish is top tier. All of the camera functions are accessible to the photographer. I can change a battery, get a memory card out or put another in, I have access to the microphone/headphone/video inputs, even the 10 prong accessory terminal (some other brands of cages are a bit off here) I have 2 complete Leofoto tripod and head combos as well, and this is a great company that you won’t go wrong with when it comes to supporting your camera/lens combos. Excellent quality that you really can’t beat at a reasonable price. In fact, some of these sale prices and deals that appear on the Leofoto website from time to time are great opportunities to get yourself a top quality tripod (or other camera accessory) and head at an unbeatable price.
