The Leofoto DC-364C Center Column for 75mm Bowl Tripods and the Leofoto DC-404C Center Column for 100mm Bowl Tripods are center columns specifically designed for 75mm and 100mm bowl tripods to add additional height. Made of carbon fiber for lightweight durability, it features a rapid column design with a large butterfly twist lock collar. The column base features a ballast hook that can be used to add weight for increased stability while the top features a reversible 3/8"-16 threaded mounting stud that can be unthreaded and flipped to reveal a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting stud, making it compatible with virtually any head.

Well made. Very pleased!

So a little bit of backstory first: i’m headed out of town on a job and didn’t want to ship my carbon fiber tripod so I rented one, but the rental company didn’t have the center column, just the legs. Started to take mine but that G brand column is almost $400!
Discovered Leofoto and purchased their rapid center column (non-crank type). And it fits my 3 Series Gitzo perfectly so that means it’ll fit the rental.
Looks great, very well made, and a fraction of the cost.
I was so impressed that now I’m purchasing their LM-364C X. I can have a brand new backup tripod for less than half the price of my other one!
