Rick Berk is a fine art landscape photographer and educator, whose work blends artistic vision with deep technical expertise. With nearly three decades behind the camera, Rick has built a reputation for creating immersive, nature-driven imagery that celebrates the beauty, mood, and character of the natural world; particularly the rugged coastlines of Maine, the quiet allure of the American landscape, and the wild places that continue to inspire his travels.

Rick began his career with Canon USA, where he served as a Technical Specialist for EOS Professional Products and later as Technical Marketing Supervisor. In these roles, he trained photographers, industry professionals, and Canon staff nationwide, helping them understand advanced camera features, lens performance, and best practices for creating exceptional imagery. That foundation in technical precision continues to fuel his approach today—both in his own work and in how he educates others.

As an instructor, Rick is known for his ability to break down complex camera functions, exposure theory, and creative techniques into clear, approachable learning experiences. He teaches independently across the United States and serves as an instructor for Santa Fe Workshops, guiding photographers of all levels in developing their craft and visual voice. His images are collected internationally, and he is recognized for his thoughtful composition, masterful use of light, and dedication to producing museum-quality prints.
